BOH - Baker
Our Bakers are the core of our business; they are our production experts. Our Bakers are always on the go ensuring our bakery counter is full; they have an eye for detail when it comes to our bakery as the ensure every item that is sent out is made to perfection. Our Bakers are what keep our customers coming back because they deliver the home-goodness our customers enjoy and have come to expect. Our Bakers are more then just a “Baker”; they are the back-bone of our team.
- Prepping and baking items as per company standards
- Prepping ingredients and mixes
- Setting up/maintaining the bakery counter; i.e. ensuring it is stocked and merchandised at all times
- Prepping ingredients for the sandwich maketable
- Assembling customer orders; i.e. sandwiches, salads, etc.
- Ensure our "Clean as you go" model is executed by keeping the kitchen/bakery clean at all times
- General cleaning duties; i.e. sweeping kitchen/bakery floor, mopping kitchen.bakery floor, wiping counters, cleaning fridge/freezers, etc.
- Minimum 2 years experience in bakery/restaurant industry
- Customer Service experience is an asset, but not required
- Catering experience an asset, but not required
- Food Safe Certificate is an asset, but not required
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexible availability, with a minimum of 2 days a week.
- Availability to work outside regular hours for special events
- Ability to multitask and handle working under pressure.
- Ability to follow and read recipes
- Self motivated and detail oriented
